11mm, 19" rifled round barrel, octagonal at the breech, with French proof marks, dated "T.1877," S/N R27023 all matching. Receiver marked "Tulle Mle 1874 / M.80."  Bolt has turned down handle, scored on the underside. Two-band walnut stock with brass furniture, arsenal markings and serial number. Complete with cleaning rod and leather sling.  Includes a M1866 Chassepot Yataghan blade bayonet dated 1872 with brass grip. Metal scabbard has matching serial numbers.

9.4 mm caliber, 5.5" round barrel length, S/N 1411. Right side of frame is marked "Brevet Nagant" and in a circular pattern marked "LM Nagant Liege."  Proof marks are also on the right side of the frame. The opposite side is marked with serial number.  Blue finish with checkered walnut pistol grip.  This pistol was used in an article and presented to the 2013 Remington Society of America, Winter Edition, Remington Journal.
